18-month-old Sadie Carter was too little to ice skate, but she did hang out at the rink with her grandfather, Stand Standland, who gave it a try
Raegen Meyer, 3, was happy to accept help getting her tube to the top of the Polar Bear Slide, and not the least bit scared to go down the big hill by herself
Anthony Mikel, aka “Coach Mikel," spent Friday night at the rink.
Adalynne Johnson, 4, and her dad, Russ, were bundled up against temperatures that dipped into the 30s early Friday night.
It’s a long way down the Polar Bear Express, and sliding tubes can be heavy for little ones to pull up the hill. Friday night, Ethan Wilson and Antonio Gurley were on hand to lend a hand at the top of the slide … and provide that little push that made the trip down more fun.
There will be more snow and more fun today and tomorrow at Candyland. A schedule follows:
Snow Show Spectacular!
Saturdays at 5 p.m.
Sundays at 3 p.m.
Winter Skating Rink, Snow Tubing Hill and Holiday Train Schedule
Saturdays -1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sundays – 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
There is no charge for admission, cottage play, or train rides. There is a $5 ticket for sliding, and a $5 for skating.
