Kayron Ann Wiggins

Mrs. Kayron Ann Wiggins, of Andalusia passed away Sun., Dec. 11, 2016, in a Niceville, Fla., hospital.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thurs., Dec. 15, at Keahey Chapel. The Rev. Gary Miller will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Carroll, Thad Grayson, Phillip Rugg, Scott Pickett, Wayne Harrelson, Josh Hickman.

Mrs. Wiggins and her husband, Rickey, had shared 28 years together. The couple was members of Westview Baptist Church in Opp. She loved to sew and was described as lovingly keeping things “patched” for Rickey. She was an outdoors person and spent a lot of time in her yard and tending to her flowers. She loved being a “Nene” to her four sweet grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rickey Wiggins of Andalusia; son, Samuel Jacob Whitehead of Enterprise; daughter, Sunnie Nichole Wiggins of Kinston; four grandchildren, Kelsey, Troy, Levi and Seth.

 

Sarah Herbert Jordan

Mrs. Sarah Herbert Jordan, 71, of Laurel Hill, Fla., passed away Mon., Dec. 5, at her home.

1213-sarah-jordanFuneral services were held at 12 p.m. Sat., Dec. 10, at Rockhill Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Durm officiating. Interment followed in the Rockhill Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Annie Herbert, Indianapolis, Ind., Cynthia Herbert, Laurel Hill, Fla., Wanda (Kennedy “BB”) Woods, Andalusia, and Jacqueline Herbert, Atlanta, Ga.; 13 grandchildren, Andre Herbert, Eugene “BJ” Herbert, Jr., Tedra Hart, Kamyah Herbert, Shay Wallace, Kevin Herbert, Nakeshia Sledge, Zachary Sledge, Kayla Woods, Raven Woods, Nicolas Woods, Tykeal “TJ” White, and Semaj Hutchinson; 10 great-grandchildren: Oriana Varner, Naytrean Parker; Angel Parker, Jalen Herbert, Damien Herbert, Alivia Herbert, Kyrie Herbert, Nathan Cook, Aaliyah Herbert, and Braelynn Wallace; and a special nephew, Christopher Lewis. She also leaves two sisters, Kathy Thomas and Minnie Lewis, Middletown, Ohio; one brother, Johnny Lewis, Crestview, Fla.; two sisters-in-law: Pearlie Mae Aaron, Crestview, Fla., and Era Coleman, Wing; two brothers-in-law, Walter Herbert, Jr. and Fred Herbert, Wing, along with her very special lifelong friend, Norma Dale Bradberry; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Herbert and Satcher Jordan; her son, Eugene Herbert, Sr.; great-granddaughter, Zoe Hart, four brothers and two sisters.

Arrangements were entrusted to McKinnie Funeral Home, Crestview, Fla.
