Organizers of Andalusia’s Candyland venue said workers sold $5,000 in tickets to ice skate or to enjoy the snow slide, both of which sell for $5, on Saturday alone.

The venue also is booked almost every day until school is out for field trips, and schools from throughout the region have paid fees to visit.

The venue opens to the public again this Thursday, Dec. 15, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
