The Andalusia Luncheon Pilot Club did their part to make to Christmas a little brighter and warmer for residents with presents at Andalusia Manor on Tuesday afternoon.
“This is the second year that we have brought Christmas present to the residents at the nursing home,” club president Nancy Robins said. “We bring throws to the residents of the facility that need them.”
Robins said it that the idea for the annual gift grew out of love.
“We have generous hearts and a brain related focus,” Robins said. “We just love older people and people with disabilities. This is something we wanted to do because we just really want to make their Christmas a little brighter.”
On Tuesday, the residents were thrilled to receive the more than 40 throws that Andalusia Luncheon Club brought wrapped in festive bags and placed around the Christmas tree.
