The Opp Bobcats picked up their first win of the season when they knocked off the Luverne Tigers 51-49 at home on Tuesday night.

Opp held a 25-21 lead at halftime, and continued to fight off the Tigers for the win.

“I saw some very positive things tonight,” Opp head coach Willie Edwards said. “We are playing together and beginning to move in a positive direction.”

Reggie Thompson led Opp with 20 points.
