The holiday season has already arrived, but no worries if there is a package that needs to be shipped before Christmas, there is still time to do so.

“It’s getting close, but people can still bring in their packages that they need to be shipped before Christmas,” Pac-N-Ship Owner Shelia Caylor said. “The last day to bring in packages to have them arrive before Christmas, will be Monday the 19th.”

Caylor said that the store has been busy over the past several weeks and she expects plenty more packages to come through before the deadline.

“It has been pretty steady every day,” Caylor said. “The evenings are when it gets really busy. I know we will have a lot more that will bring packages in between now and the 19th.”

UPS spokesperson Jennifer Cook said the company recommends that consumers shop early and ship early.

“Delivery days and times to some locations will vary,” she said. “So, to plan ahead, we recommend consumers check the UPS Holiday Help Center on ups.com to calculate time and costs for their specific shipping needs.”

Cook said that most ground packages in the U.S. reach their destination in one to three business days.

She said the last days to ship to ensure delivery before Christmas Day through UPS are as follows:

  • UPS 3 Day Select: Mon., Dec. 19;
  • UPS 2nd Day Air: Wed., Dec. 21;
  • UPS Next Day Air: Thurs., Dec. 22.
