The County Commission agreed to renew lease agreement for two boat ramps in the county.

County Attorney Stephanie Cotton said she had reviewed the lease agreements.

The lease agreements are with the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for the Brooklyn Bridge and River Falls boat ramps.

The lease is a 20-year term that allows the county to provide free public boat ramps to the residents.

County Engineer Lynn Ralls asked if the lease included Hart’s Bridge.

It does not.

“The state initiated this,” Chairman Greg White said.

The county agrees to maintain the driveway leading to the boat ramps.
