Julia Ann Wallace Ingalls

Julia Ann Wallace Ingalls, 76, of Verbena died Tues., Jan. 10, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center South, Montgomery.

She was born on Sun., March 10, 1940 in Hackleburg, Ala., daughter of the late Cecil C. Wallace and the late Era Clay Wallace.

She was a paralegal.

Survivors include her husband, William E. “Bill” Ingalls, Sr., USA, MSgt. (Ret.) of Verbena, Ala.; sons, David Goodman (Linda) of Coden, Ala., Ken Goodman (Vera) of Lafayette, Ala., Bill Ingalls, Jr. (Margaret) of Montgomery, and Wallace Ingalls of Vallejo, Calif.; daughters, LeAnne Iacampo (Bob) of Napa, Calif., Marcy Bomboy of Napa, Calif., Andrea Gooden (J.R.) of Scott Air Force Base, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Era Wallace; son, Tracy Scott Goodman; and brother, Jimmy Wallace.

Friends will be received from 5-7, Thurs., Jan. 12, 2017, at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Fri., Jan. 13, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Travis Marler officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedar Tree Cemetery, Hackleburg, Ala.

Hugghins

Michael Wade Hugghins, 54, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Jan. 7, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Fri., Jan. 13, 2017, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow in Longbranch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30-1 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Mr. Hugghins is survived by daughter, Brittany Lynn Hugghins of Georgiana; mother, Faye P. Hugghins of Red Level; brothers, Rockford S. Hugghins of Oxford, Ala., Jeffery T. Hugghins of Pell City, Ala., and Thomas B. Hugghins of Andalusia; nieces, Jessica Roxanne Hugghins and Andrea Faye Hugghins; great niece, Pricilla Paris Sparks; and great nephew, Parker Garrett Hugghins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Mr. McRhee Hugghins.

Pallbearers will include: Jason Dickert, Tripp Bass, TJ Scarbrough, Robert “Bodie” Sorrells, Marty Curry, and Chad Long.

Cleatus B. Maddox

Mr. Cleatus B. Maddox, 92, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., Jan. 11, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Fri., Jan. 13, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Travis Day officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 Thursday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Maddox of Andalusia; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Maddox and Grady Melvin of Freeport, Fla.; two step-daughters and son-in-law, Angie Anderson and Dianne and Ronnie Hart of Andalusia; his grandchildren, James G. Melvin II of Wheeling, Minn., Gabriella M. Thomson of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., James A. Melvin of Freeport, Fla.; a brother, Leland Maddox of Atlanta, Ga.; many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Pallbearers will be Glen Gibson, Vann Maddox, Duane O’Neal, Wayne Stanley, Derek Adams, Jason Hart.

Mrs. Mary Ida Goff, age 80, of Andalusia passed away Wed., Jan. 11, 2017, at Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Fri., Jan. 13, 2017, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Lockhart. Rev. Roger Mims will officiate. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm Thursday at the Keahey Chapel.

Survivors include one daughter, Jackie Goff of Andalusia; brother, Tony Greer of Lake Charles, Louisiana; sister, Frankie Jo Pelham of Florala; grandchildren, Sophia Wheeler and Jonathan Matthew White of Andalusia; great grandchildren, Riley White, Jared Gray and Tesla Gray; and one great, great-grandchild, Loralai Gray.

Mr. Duane Harvey Aughtman, age 53, of Gantt died Tues., Jan. 11, 2017, in Crenshaw County, Al of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Margaret “Nig” Holmes

Mrs. Margaret “Nig” Holmes, age 86 of Andalusia, passed away Tues., Jan. 10, 2017, in the Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Fri., Jan. 13, 2017, at Keahey Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Elmore and the Rev. Greg Cotter will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Keahey Chapel. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Mosley, Johnny Mosley, Brandon Ainsworth, Chris Grantham, Chase Short, John Morgan.

Survivors include one sister, Lorene Mosley Vickery of Andalusia; nieces, Lola Allen of Baker, Fla.; Sandra Grantham of Bessemer, Ala.; Linda Hicks of Dothan; Leshia Allen of Brewton; Sharron Short of Andalusia; Patty Bates of Lakeland, Fla.; nephews, Jerry Mosley of Andalusia, Johnny Mosley of Andalusia, and John Morgan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Rex Holmes; brother, Palmer “Bo”Morgan; and sisters, Kathleen “Sis” Lundy and Fay “Dunnie” Booker.
