Andalusia Bulldogs’ Tommy Kanaley helped lead the Bulldogs to the fourth round of the AHSAA football playoffs, and now the senior offensive lineman will get a shot to play college ball with the West Florida Argos.
“It feels great knowing that I get to continue doing something that I love for four more years,” Kanaley said. “West Florida has a new football program and it’s only going to continue to get better.”
The 2017 football season will be just the second year that the Argos have fielded a team.
“I think it’s going to be a lot of fun playing for a brand new program,” Kanaley said. “They have great coaches and it’s right by the beach so there will be a lot more recruits coming in a few years.”
The 6’5” 280-pounder will play offensive tackle for the Argos.
Kanaley said he reports to school on Aug. 8.
