LBW Community College is conducting “Cash for College,” a free program to help college-bound students and their families get help in opening the door for financial aid money for college.

The event is designed to help any student interested in attending college to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and will be held at LBWCC in Andalusia, Opp, and Greenville on Feb. 2, 2017, 5:30 p.m.

“Completing the FAFSA is the first step for students to be considered for federal and state grants, loans and scholarships,” said Donna Bass, LBWCC director of financial aid.

Those planning to attend should bring completed 2015 IRS income tax returns, W-2 forms, and other 2015 income and benefits information.
