Glenn Wills, author of Forgotten Alabama and More Forgotten Alabama, will be the featured speaker for the Covington Historical Society’s meeting this week.

Wills will talk about his journey around all of the 67 counties in Alabama documenting and photographing physical reminders of the past, be it an old house, an abandoned store, a derelict bridge – things we built, used, and eventually left behind. Wills’ Powerpoint presentation is about 45 minutes in length and is followed by a question and answer session.

Wills, a native of Huntsville and full-time news photographer with WHNT-TV, will have copies of his books available at the program.

The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 26, at in the Charles Dixon Room of the Andalusia Public Library.
