James Otha Starley

Mr. James Otha Starley, Sr., 83, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., Jan. 25, 2017, at the Andalusia hospital.

Mr. Starley was an avid fisherman and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sun., Jan. 29, 2017, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Billy Boles officiating. Interment followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Vick Starley of Andalusia; two sons, T. Preston (Pamela) Chesser, Jr. of Pensacola, and James O. Starley, Jr. of North Carolina; six daughters, Debbie (Cecil) Marmont of Milton, Fla., Beverly Starley of Dublin, Ga., Nancy (Gary) Hawthorne of Oklahoma, La., Ree Murrah of Montana, Victoria (Terry) Randolph of Evans, Ga., and Lori (Den) Couturie of Andalusia; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Albert (Debbie) Starley of Wilmer, AL, Ron Starley of Dublin, GA; two sisters, Nell Crawford of Baltimore, MD, Kaye Starley of Birmingham; and two special nephews, Reggie Dominy and Greg Dominy of Georgia.
