Local hair stylist Victoria Peek is looking to be the next Miss America.

The next Miss America for Fave4, a line of hair care products, sold at Oasis Salon and Spa, that is.

She’s entered in the Fave4 Fanatic of the Year competition.

“Fave4 is a product that I retail here at the salon,” she said. “The contest is to be the face of Fave4 for a whole year.”

Peek said if she wins, she will receive several prizes and will gain a lot of publicity from Fave4.

“I am very passionate about their products because they are gluten, paraben and sodium-free,” she said. “They smell amazing.”

Peek said for the first round of the competition she had to submit her photo and the Fave4 panel voted and picked nine for the second round.

“Round 2 is based off who get the most likes on their photo on the Instagram of @fave4hair,” she said. “Voting started (Monday) and ends Friday at noon. So, I need all the likes on my photo on their page that I can get.”

If she wins, she gets the following:

• A year of honorary Fave4 girl status, which includes special treatment, social media features and event invites;
• Stock her Fave4 for the entire year.
• Test crew: Try out products during development to give Face4 feedback and shape the future of the company’s products.
• First dibs: Free samples of new products to try them before anyone else can buy them.
• A day in the life: Take over Fave 4 social for a day to show off what her fanatic life looks like.
• Name your fave: Sit in on a brainstorming session and toss around ideas for new product names; and
• Style expert makeover: Customized hair consultation, be a model for a company hair tutorial.
