Timothy Bentley Patterson

Mr. Timothy Bentley Patterson, 52, of Holt, Fla., formerly of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Jan. 29, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thurs., Feb. 2, 2017, from Foreman Funeral Home with Dr. Jason Thrower officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his twin brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Wanda Patterson of Holt, Fla.; a sister, Susan Patterson Bown of Andalusia; four nephews, Ty Jackson, Kaleb Jackson, Jason Jackson, and Dillon Smith; three nieces, Bonnie Whitfield, Abby Cooper, and Whitney Jordan.

Pallbearers will be Derek Stump, Chuck Studstill, Jason Jackson, Ty Jackson, Caleb Jackson, and Michael Whitfield

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Andalusia Area Humane Society, 411 Pearl Street, Andalusia, AL 36420.

Renee Adams

Renee Adams, age 61, of Gantt, Ala., and Crestview, Fla., passed away on Mon., Jan. 30, 2017, at UAB in Birmingham.

She was born in the old Enzor Hospital in Crestview on Jan. 24, 1956, to Bill and Gladys Tolbert. Renee graduated from Crestview High School in 1974. Renee worked for 30-plus years as a deputy clerk with the Okaloosa County Clerk of Courts. She was a member of the Rawls Baptist Church in Gantt, and she loved the youth group at the church and enjoyed playing kickball with them. Renee loved her family, loved to sew, to fish, loved to travel, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to their sporting events.

Renee was a TEAM mother for the 1993 Baker State Championship Football team and the 1996 State Runner-Up Baker Basketball Team and was a lifelong supporter of the BAYA. Renee proudly served as a U.S. Army wife and mother.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her mother-in –law, Lillian Adams; and cousin, Grady Paulk.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Bobby Adams of Gantt; sons, Israel Adams and his wife, Jill, of Laurel Hill, and Amos Adams and his wife, Brandy, of Amarillo, Texas; father-in-law, Joseph Adams; sisters, Gayle Faircloth and husband, Albert, Patricia Baker and husband, Allen, and Penni Byrd and husband, Joel. Renee is also survived by her precious grandchildren, Afton, Sawyer, Aeden, and Brinley Adams; nieces and nephews, Jeffery Adams, Amanda Adams Morgan, Jarrod Faircloth, Justin Faircloth, Nathan and Jonathon Baker, Natalie, Asa, and Peyton Byrd; and her godchildren, Joshua Day and Mercedes Day Jones.

Renee leaves behind some special friends, Sue and Billy Rawls, Linda and Don Ingram, Voncile and Randel Holland, Jessica Aplin, Mack and Deborah Smith, Joyce and Jerry Hayes, Ronnie and Anita Richards, Mary Jones, Charles and Patricia Grace, Wayne and Carrie Aughtman, Doug and Kitty Simms, Bill and Sharon Anders, and Keith and Angie Day, and all the family of C&C Construction, Dozier.

A time of visitation with the family will be held at First Baptist Church Crestview on Fri., Feb. 3, 2017, from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. The celebration of Renee’s life will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Liveoak Baptist Church cemetery.
