Clara Magdalene Dozier

Ms. Clara Magdalene Dozier, age 66, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., Feb. 3, 2017, at Andalusia Manor.

A graveside service was held Sun., Feb. 5, at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Shawn Bentley officiating the service.

She is survived by her son, John Gaston King; twos daughters and son-in-law, Leigh and Matt Griglio and Jade Angel Kolendra; two grandchildren, Reide Castleberrry and Sean Griglio; two brothers and sister-in-law, Leroy and Joanne Dozier and Oren Dozier; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jenelle and James Jones and Louise and Robert Taylor.

Mrs. Dozier is preceded in death by her father, Oren E. Dozier; mother, Eunice Browder; and sister, Lela Bowden.

Beatrice “Bea” Vera Miller

Ms. Beatrice “Bea” Vera Miller, age 94, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Feb. 5, 2017 in Montgomery.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 8, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Montgomery officiating the service, interment will follow in Stone Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony Wayne and Angeline Miller of Montgomery; daughter, Ann Dearing of Springhill, Fla.; six grandchildren, Michael Broom, Becky Broom, Mickey Miller, Ashley Till, Cole Fortner, and Patrick Fortner; two great-grandchildren, Madeline Miller and Kathryn Till; and two brothers, Quention Wise of Pensacola and Victor Wise of DeFuniak Springs.
