Betty Nell Dunn

Mrs. Betty Nell Dunn, 91, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Feb. 12, 2017, at Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wed., Feb. 15, at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Ray and Dr. Mike Flowers officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday at Foreman Funeral Home and will be at the church one hour prior to services.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Dunn of Andalusia; two sons and daughter-in-law, Benny and Charlee Dunn, and Patrick Dunn, of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Jacob Dunn, Jeffery Dunn, and Matthew Dunn; and two great-grandchildren, Cassidy Dunn and Brayden Dunn.

Pallbearers will be Harry Radford, Mike Radford, Jackie Butler, David Woodham, Bobby Dempsey, and Steve Cole.

Jim Paul Smithart, Sr.

Mr. Jim Paul Smithart, Sr., age 74, of Pepperell, Mass., formerly of Andalusia, passed away Thurs., Feb. 9, 2017, at Community Hospice House in Merimack, N.H., surrounded by his family after a long term illness.

A visitation will be held on Wed., Feb. 15, 2017, from 5:30-8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thurs., Feb. 16, 2017, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Boles officiating the services. Eulogies will be given by Chance McCurley and Michael Smithart with music being provided by the Goodnews Singers. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Faye Smithart of Pepperell, Mass., formerly of Andalusia; a daughter, Peggy Smithart, and daughter-in-law, Jeanine Jordan of Pepperell, Mass.; daughter, Angie Smithart of Andalusia; a grandson, Owen Paul Smithart- Jordan of Pepperell, Mass.; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jean Smithart of Andalusia; a sister, Rachel Eddins; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Paul was preceded in death by his father and mother, Cleve and Gladys Smithart; his brothers, Max, Leonard, Carlos, Billy, and Cecil Smithart; a sister, Betty Smithart; and son, Jim Paul Smithart, Jr.

Pallbearers will include Jimmy McCurley, Chance McCurley, Michael Smithart, Taylor McCurley, Tanner McCurley, Hyram Lambert, Owen Smithart-Jordan, Rayford Davis and Jerome Parker.

Terry Alan Baker

Mr. Terry Alan Baker, 60, of Red Level, passed away Sun. Feb. 12, 2017, in Montgomery.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wed., Feb. 15, 2017, at New Hope Independent Baptist Church in Red Level with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Hope Independent Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Tara Baker of Andalusia; a daughter, Pam Baker of Red Level; three grandchildren, David Baker, Delana Baker, and Harley Douglas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Teresa Baker of Red Level and Bruce and Wanda Baker of Eclectic, Ala.,

Reginald Abner “Pete” Riley

Mr. Reginald Abner “Pete” Riley, 88, of Andalusia, passed away Mon., Feb. 13, 2017, at the Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services were held Tues., Feb. 14, at Carolina Baptist Church with Brother Billy Boles officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie Riley of Andalusia; a son and daughter-in-law, Abb and Vickie Riley of Andalusia; two daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer and Paul Hartley of Lowndesboro, and Leigh Riley of Birmingham; his grandson, Jackson Guin; three granddaughters, Katherine Riley, Hope Riley (Jeremy) Tankersley, and Amy Caroline Riley; a great-grandson, Jay Riley Tankersley; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rhett and Jeanette Riley of Auburn, and Ralph and Gloria Riley of Andalusia; one sister, Jane Wiggins of Andalusia; two sisters-in-law, Sue Parker of Prattville and Faye Riley of Andalusia.

He is preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Jeanette Hodges Riley; a brother, Andy Riley; and brother-in-law, Gene Wiggins.
