An Andalusia woman was arrested Wednesday night after burglarizing a vehicle.
Lakeshia E. Crittenden, 40, for Andalusia, is charged with breaking and entering a vehicle, and being held on a $10,000 bond.
A PD Investigator Sgt. Jody Scott said the victim observed the suspect going through his vehicle and called police. Before officers arrived, Crittenden left the scene on foot. She was stopped a short distance away from the scene.
Sgt. Scott would like to remind citizens lock their vehicles, even in their own driveways.
Do not leave items laying in the seats or floor that can be seen, he said, adding it is better to put them in the trunk.
