Robbers threaten Opp Church’s Chicken worker with gun

Opp Police are searching for two black males who they believe are responsible for the armed robbery at a local fast food restaurant.
Opp Police Chief Mike McDonald said that D-Shift officers responded around 9:49 p.m., Tuesday to Church’s Chicken located on the Florala Highway.
“Investigation by officers and OPD investigators revealed that two black males, one of which was armed with a handgun, entered the business and forced a store employee to open the store safe and give them the money that was in the safe as well as the money that was in one of the store’s cash registers,” he said. “No one was injured during the robbery.”
McDonald said the robbery is still under investigation.
