Take time to thank city workers for jobs well done

On behalf of the Tourism and Relocation Committee, I want to express our gratitude to the often un-sung heroes of our city, the city workers.

It is hard to think of any activity that goes on successfully in our city without the assistance of these men and women. Their attitude and willingness to help with the task at hand sets the tone for the job to be done. Any measure of success of the project depends on the work that goes on behind the scene and the majority of that work is done by the city workers.

Every city has city workers, but not every city has the kind of men and women who do their jobs every day with such a sense of pride and dedication. It is this sense of pride in doing a job well that sets such a high bar for excellence.

When you ride around town and look at our streets, public buildings, lawns, parks, etc. and see how clean and well kept the grounds are, if you should by chance see workers doing their jobs, please thank him or her for making our home town such a joy to live in and a place we can take pride in.

Thank you City Workers, you are indeed the best!

Respectfully,

Jewel Curry
