Robert Dalton Barton

Mr. Robert Dalton Barton, age 84, of Andalusia, passed away on Wed., March 22, 2017, at Andalusia Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Barton will be held at 10 a.m. Sat., March 25, at Southside Baptist Church with Brother Bill Pritchett officiating the service. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Butch Foshee of Andalusia; grandson, Hudson Foshee of Andalusia; granddaughters, Sydney Foshee of Nashville, and Greeley Foshee of Andalusia; sister-in-law, Barbara Barton of Nashville; special family friends, Kimberly Hall, Tammy Whiddon, and Ted and Gail Grimes; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Barton was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Nancy Ruth Barton; beloved wife, Opal Barton; brother, Claude Elry Barton; brother and sister-in-law, James Max and June Barton; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Cecil Nixon and Jewel and Jim Courtney.

Pallbearers will include Chase Nolan, Lowe Dillard, Buddy Bryan, Lee Brannon, Mark Poole, Dean Mitchell, Matt Davidson, and John Hassell. Honorary pallbearer is Kenton Poole.

James Lavon Spears

Mr. James Lavon Spears age 82, of Andalusia passed away Wed., March 22, 2017, at his residence.

There will be graveside services with full military honors by the United States Air Force, 11 a.m. Sat., March 25, at the Antioch Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel until time to depart for the cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Vinson Spears; sons, James Timothy (Melissa) Spears of Destin, Fla., and Forest Spears of Montgomery; daughters, Mary Ann (Terry) Burns of Tallahassee, Fla., Debra Spears of Ft. Walton, and Margaret Folmar of Phoenix Ariz.; grandchildren, Shauna Spears, Caroline Vay Spears, and Nathan Folmar; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, James Lavon Spears Jr.
