Noreen Noles will likely rue the day she left CEC’s annual meeting early.

Noles’ was the first name drawn for the electric cooperative’s grand prize, for which the winner must be present to win.

But it was Christopher Martin’s lucky day.

Martin won the 2004 Chevrolet Venture Minivan, and said it was the biggest thing he’s ever won.

Asked if he has a lucky streak, Martin said, “Not really. I’ve won five guns, and I won a TV last weekend at a class we attend every year, but never anything this year.”

Asked if he had plans for the vehicle, he said he expects his mama to attempt to lay claim to it, and a good-natured ribbing from his brother, who is a CEC employee.
