Walden, Pitre to say ‘I do’

Danielle Walden and Matthieu Pitre have announced their engagement and forthcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Tonya Walden Williams and Roland Scott Williams of Red Level, and the late Randall Keith Walden. She is the granddaughter of Sarah Ann Day, John Donald Butts Sr., J.C. Walden, and the late Wilsie Faye Mitchell Bass.
She is a 2012 graduate of Pleasant Home School and is currently a student at the University of West Alabama where she is studying early childhood education. She also works at UWA.
The groom-to-be is the son of Pamela Parker of Dequincy, La., and the late Richard Randall Pitre. He is the grandson of Estelle Pitre, Evalena VanWinkle, the late Richard Earl Cole and the late Charles S. Pitre.
He is a 2006 graduate of Dequincy High School and earned a bachelor of science degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He is currently a corpsman in the U.S. Navy.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and reception, planned for 6 p.m. on Sat., June 17, at the Grove, 1470 Bluffport 21, in Demopolis.
