Thomas Homer Carter

Thomas Homer Carter of Andalusia passed away Tues., May 2, 2017, at his residence. He was 79 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Fri., May 5, at Zion Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Roger Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Keahey Chapel, and at church one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Carter is survived by his wife, Teresa Carter; sons, Steve (Tammy) Carter of Houston, Texas, Randy (Mary) Carter of Houston, Texas, Brian (Cheri) Carter of Houston, Texas; daughter, Wendy (Dean) Benefield of Houston, Texas; brother, David Carter of Andalusia; step-son, Justin (Kayla) Odom of Chipley, Fla.; stepdaughter, Brittany (Tommy) Boyette of Clarksville, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
