Eddie Jean Sunde

Mrs. Eddie Jean Sunde, age 64, of Andalusia, passed away on Mon., May 15, 2017, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tues., May 23, 2017, from Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:30-8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to services at the church.

Mrs. Sunde is survived by her husband, Wallace A. Sunde of Andalusia; daughters and son-in-law, Tara Fetzer of Rhone, Texas, and Melinda Kathy and Garland McDaniels of Statesville, N.C.; son, Gregory Miller of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Scarlett Tillman Miller, Brandon Brown, Chase Earl, Andrew Sunde, Daniel Sunde, Vince McDaniels, Jackson McDaniels, and Duston McDaniels; eight great-grandchildren; and brothers, John Haymons of Pace, Fla., and Michael Odom of Andalusia.

Brenda Fay Rea

Mrs. Brenda Fay Rea, age 66, of Wing, died on Tues., May 16, 2017, in Pensacola.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thurs., May 18, 2017, from Beda Cemetery with Brother Ashley McKathan officiating the service. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rea is survived daughter and son-in-law, Jaqueline and Marion Watson of Wing; grandchildren, Chris Watson and fiancé Carol Schmitt of Camp LeJuene, N.C., Nick Watson and girlfriend Layla Wood of Wing, and Brendan Watson of Wing; niece, Sandy (Rodney) Batesel of Kearney, Mo.; nephew, Pete Odegaard and daughter Myia of Mo.; non-biological daughter and son-in-law, Kristy Aughtman and Dustin Neal of Wing; and non-biological grandchildren, Kaylee Aughtman of Wing, Hana and Trace Morill of Wing, Tanas Mallon of Camp LeJuene, N.C., Kristin Smith of Mobile, Jake Cox of Pensacola, Savannah Smith of Andalusia, and Gage Hall of Pensacola.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Christine Allred Cowart; father, Jack Cowart; sister, Sue Goodwin; and grandson, Jonathan Watson.

Sharon Louise Rucker

Sharon Louise Rucker, age 71, of Golconda, Ill., went to see her King at 3:33 a.m. on Mon., May 15, 2017, at Baptist Health.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Fri., May 19, 2017, at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with Bro. Jake Ervin officiating. Burial will follow in IOOF Cemetery in Metropolis.

Mrs. Rucker was born in Huntington Station, Long Island, N.Y., on Oct. 7, 1945, to Kenneth Edward and Viola Mae (Jetter) Gross. She attended school in Metropolis, Ill., Pekin, Ill., and Avon, Ind., and graduated college from the University of Alabama. She had a love of life, God, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attended Family Praise and Worship Center.

Sharon is survived by her five children, Richard Martin Bluejacket Rucker, Vickie Renee Rucker Myrick and husband Jeremiah, Laura Lee Lang English and husband Danny, Kenneth Russell Rucker, and Marion Shannon Rucker Leonard and husband Nathan; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marion Russell Rucker Jr.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home on Fri., May 19.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis.

Bobby Jerome Stanley

Mr. Bobby Jerome Stanley of Andalusia died in his home surrounded by family on May 17, 2017. He was 46 years old.

Mr. Stanley was a faithful member of Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle where he also worked as custodian.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Sat., May 20, 2017, at Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle. The Rev. John Hunt and the Rev. Travis Day will officiate, with burial following in the River Falls Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Teresa Stanley of Andalusia; son, Rodney Chad Stanley of Andalusia; daughter, Kat Engberg of Petrey; stepson, Travis Garrett of Castleberry; stepdaughter, Nickie Graham of Rose Hill, Ala.; brothers, Kenneth (Rhonda) Stanley of Opp, Dean (Wanda) Stanley of Andalusia, and Glennie (Shelia) Stanley of Opp; sisters, Jeanice Stanley (Jerry) Messick of Greenville, S.C.; four grandchildren, Gabriel, Katie, Emily and Remyngton; niece, Tyuanna Ross; and his little bud, Carver Jude Day.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Wera Stanley; and a brother, Wayne Stanley.
