OPD jails man for ice

On Thurs., May 25, 2017, at approximately 3:50 p.m., an Opp Police Department investigator got out with several individuals at an apartment on Hardage Circle.
The investigator was there concerning a theft of property case.
The investigator observed a individual in the house that appeared to be evading him and with the assistance of a 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force agent, detained Phillip J. Harrison, 36, of Opp.
During subsequent investigation, Harrison was found to be in possession of methamphetamine (Ice).
He was charged with the possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated in the Covington County Jail with a bond of $13,000.
