Reaves joins SouthernCare as care consultant

SouthernCare Hospice of Andalusia recently announced that Summer Reaves will be joining their team on June 5 as their hospice care consultant.

Reaves is a 2000 Andalusia High School graduate and a 2004 Auburn University graduate where she graduated with a business administration degree while majoring in marketing.

Reaves has an extensive background working in the healthcare field.

Her background includes four to five years in marketing for home health.

She also worked in rehab and wound care for Andalusia Health in the past.

Reaves is married to Lee Reaves and they have three children, Logan 9, Tatum 7, and Isabel, 3 months.

She is the daughter of Dennis and Althea Meeks.

“I am very excited about coming to work with SouthernCare Hospice, a local hospice, to see what great things we can do to help people in Covington County,” she said. “I am looking forward to being a part of this hospice family. I look forward to working with everyone in the community and helping people with their end of life care needs!”

Amy Ellis, director of operations for the Andalusia office, said, “We are excited to have Summer join us. We look forward to working with Summer in our goal in providing quality care to patients and their families in Covington County.”
