The Opp Lady Bobcats’  Ariyon Hightower was recently selected to participate in the 2017 AHSAA North/South All-Star softball game in July in Montgomery.

Hightower was one of 18 juniors selected to participate in the event.

The games are scheduled for July 18 at 6 p.m., and 8 p.m.

The games will be played at Lagoon Park.

Hightower hit .364 this season for the Lady Bobcats with three home runs and 32 RBIs.

Standout Brantley pitcher, Leanna Johnson will also be on the South roster with Hightower.
