Opal Raley Fleming

Mrs. Opal Raley Fleming, 94, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., June 2, 2017, at her residence.

She was a long-time member of Red Oak Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thurs., June 8, 2017, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Eugene Meadows officiating the service. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Pat Watson of Andalusia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Phil and Kay Fleming of Spring, Texas, and Paul and Marion Fleming of Hutto, Texas; nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; and sisters-in-law, Marie Carter, Lois Bates, and Barbara Raley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James T. Raley and Bama Bulger Raley; husband, Cecil B. Fleming; a son, John L. Fleming; one brother, J. T. Raley; four sisters, Cora Lee Wiggins, Gladys Adams, Sally Henderson, and Myrtle Olgevie; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Raley.

Pallbearers will include Phillip Fleming, Cody Fleming, Mike Koehler, Tony Fleming, Hollie Fleming Barone, and Wayne Stookey.

Wanda N. Hall Greene

Mrs. Wanda N. Hall Greene, 77, of Wetumpka, Ala., passed away Mon., June 5, 2017, at Baptist Hospital in Montgomery.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sat., June 10, 2017, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ed Ganus officiating the service. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12- 1 p.m. Saturday at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Greene of Wetumpka, Ala.; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Tina Greene of Jacksonville, Fla.; granddaughter, Alexandria Greene of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law, Natha and Doug Hubbard of Montgomery; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Susan Paul of Centre, Ala., and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bergur Hall.

 

Christopher “Red” Dennis

Mr. Christopher “Red” Dennis, 55, of Dozier, passed away Saturday May 27, 2017.

Graveside services will be at 10 AM Friday June 2, 2017 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Brother Gary Holloway officiating the service and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at 9 AM Friday at Oak Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son and daughter; local survivors include Frank Carpenter and Timothy Carpenter and their families along with close friends, Ronnie Barnes, Chris Gantt and Andrew Gantt.

Pallbearers will be Chris Gantt, Andrew Gantt, Ronnie Barnes, Donnie Barnes, Timothy Carpenter, and Ethan Carpenter.
