Thunderstorms are in the forecast from now through Thursday, which could make for a wet Father’s Day weekend.

The National Weather Service forecasts that there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m., today.

On Sunday, a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms are expected after 1 p.m.

Monday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, and on Tuesday a 50 percent chance.

Looking ahead to Wednesday and Thursday, a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms are forecast.
