Charles Dennis Cobb

Mr. Charles Dennis Cobb, 67, of Opp, passed away Mon., June 19, 2017, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Fri., June 23, 2017, at Harmony Baptist Church with Brother Greg Cotter and Brother Bill Pritchett officiating. The interment will follow in Harmony Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 – 8 p.m. Thursday at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Cobb of Opp; two sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Christy Cobb of Andalusia, Patrick and Amanda Cobb of Daphne; four grandchildren, Ryan, Annslee, Emma Grace, and Abigail Cobb; a brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Cindy Cobb of Enterprise; three sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Rakstis of Andalusia, Catherine and Glen Free of Ralph, Ala., and Denise McKinnon of Andalusia

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Thadie Harrelson Cobb and his sister, Virginia Knight.

William Rayford Davis

Mr. William Rayford “Pee Wee” Davis, 76, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., June 17, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jason Thrower and the Rev. Jim Carpenter officiating the service. Interment followed in Macedonia Cemetery in Rose Hill. Visitation was Monday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hammett Davis of Andalusia; a son and daughter-in-law, Dwain and Tonya Davis of Andalusia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and James Wilson of Arkansas, Debbie and Steve Posey of Andalusia; his grandchildren, Clayton and Claire Posey of Birmingham, Azaryah Wilson of Arkansas, and Bolton Davis of Andalusia; a sister-in-law, Joan Russell of Andalusia; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Seth and Nancy Hammett of Andalusia.

Pallbearers were Bill Patton, Malcolm Peevy, Billy Lucas, Robert Stewart, Rusty Davis, and his three grandsons, Clayton Posey, Azaryah Wilson, and Bolton Davis. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Searchers Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund.

Eleanor Mae Gaines,

Mrs. Eleanor Mae Gaines, age 87, of Andalusia passed away Fri., June 16, 2017, at her residence.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wed., June 21, 2017, at Keahey Funeral Home in Andalusia. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thurs., June 22, 2017, at Keahey Chapel. The Rev. Billy Boles will officiate. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donnie Wiggins, Rick Wunsh, Rob Leddon, Robert Mitchell.

Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Survivors include her son, Don Gaines of Andalusia; daughters, Sally Gaines (Kirk Gromoll) of Andalusia, and  Linda Gaines of Florida; sisters, Betty Levine of Baltimore, and Sandra Lee Regan of New York; grandchildren, Richard (Mylinda) Ayers, Amanda Ayers, Angela Draycott, Rob (Kerry) Leddon, Jimmy (Tanya) Leddon, and Alan Joseph (Bekki) Leddon; 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Gaines was preceded in death by her husband, Lonzie Gaines, in 2015; sisters, Alma, Margaret, and Beatrice; and brothers, John Litten, Virginia, and Pat.
