That’s a lot of water in just 3 days

Covington County has received a good bit of rain in the last three days.
The Choctawhatchee Pea and Yellow River Watershed Management Agency recorded 4.6 inches of rain at its Yellow River at 55 station and 5.97 inches of rain at its Yellow River at 84 station.
Those totals exceeded rainfall totals for the entire month of June in 2016, when only 2.84 inches was recoreded on the Yellow River at Hwy. 55, and 4.42 inches was recorded for the month at Yellow River on Hwy. 84.
River stages were up for Yellow River and Conecuh River.
Yellow River at 55 was at 15.70 feet on Thursday afternoon. That’s up from 5.916 feet on June 19.
Yellow River at 84 was 2.5 feet on June 20 and was at 7.52 feet on Thursday.
The Conecuh River at River Falls was at 22.43 feet up from just 5 feet on June 19.
