A new body shop and collision center is looking to freshen up the paint jobs of Opp residents.

Opp’s Top Notch Collision Center has reopened after a few years away from the Opp area.

Owner Allen Schroeder, originally from Pennsylvania, said that the business originally opened in Opp in 2011 and eventually moved to Florida before owners decided to return “home.”

“I opened up in 2011 and we did really good here,” Schroeder said. “We moved the business to Florida and a couple of other places, but I felt like I did best here in Opp. This is where I’m going to call home.”

Top Notch Collision Center offers collision repair as well as custom paint jobs, custom exhaust work and minor auto mechanics. Schroeder said that the shop also sells and installs lift kits for vehicles.

Business hours for Top Notch Collision Center are 5 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. A ribbon cutting will be held on Friday at 10 a.m.
