AHS Class of 2015 ranked high on ACT

Andalusia High School’s Class of 2015 posted ACT scores that ranked really, really well in the state, principal Dr. Daniel Shakespeare told board members Monday night.

The state releases ACT scores in arrears, he said.

In a ranking of the ACT scores of all high schools in state for the class of 2015, Andalusia High School ranked 30th.

It was the highest showing for that class of any high school in the county, he said, adding:

  • Florala ranked No. 103.
  • Pleasant Home ranked No. 182.
  • Red Level ranked No. 184.
  • Straughn ranked No. 196.
  • Opp ranked No. 243.
