Opp City Schools approved some personnel changes at its Tuesday meeting. The board:

• Accepted the resignation of Marcus Taylor, teacher at Opp High School;
• Hired Heather Marlowe, teacher at Opp High School;
• Hired Shannon Williamson, teacher at Opp Elementary School;
• Hired Christina Marcotte, gifted teacher and special education.

The board also contracted services for:

• Amy Riley, instructional tutor at Opp Middle School;
• Delisha Hightower, instructional tutor at Opp Middle School;
• Susan Rhodes, instructional tutor at Opp Elementary School;
• Judy Phillips, instructional tutor at Opp Elementary School;
• Brenda Dauphin, EL tutor;
• Lynn Weide, adjunct elementary music teacher.
