Drug Task Force Agent Josh Hudson said Wednesday afternoon that deputies went to 26489 Point A Isle Road to serve four felony warrants from Pike County on Eric Glenn Padgett for fraudulent use of a credit card.

Hudson said that Amber Pinkston admitted to using drugs in front of her child.

Padgett was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana first degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $23,000 bond for the new Covington County charge and there is a hold on him for Pike County.

Pinkston is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts chemical endangerment because she’s three months pregnant.

She is being held on a $513,000 bond.

Additionally, agents found a firearm in the home.

Hudson said charges from that would come from the feds, whom they had already notified.
