South Alabama Regional Airport will hold its third annual Military Appreciation Day on Aug. 11 from 10:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

All active duty and retired military personnel will receive a free grilled steak dinner from the heliport café.

There will be a drawing for free airplane rides over Covington County at 5:30 p.m.

Retired personnel are asked to RSVP to Chelsea Henderson or Beth Merrill at 334-222-6598.

An estimated 150-175 people from the local community attended last year.
