The Andalusia Police Department is seeking information about two altercations to which they were called on Sunday.

At about 8 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a report of a fight at Coleman Field off C.C. Baker Avenue.

Details are limited, the APD said, as those involved had already left the scene and witnesses were not willing to speak about the incident. From what was learned, an altercation between parties from Greenville and Opp turned physical. As the parties were leaving, an unidentified person fired two shots into the air. No one was injured and no property damage was reported.

Shortly thereafter, officers were called to McDonald’s where members of those two parties ended up and another altercation started. An unidentified female was struck in the face and received minor injuries. Again, no one was willing to speak about the incident.

Capt. Paul Dean asks that anyone with information concerning these two incidents to contact the Andalusia Police Dept. at 334-222-1155.
