Covington Electric Cooperative is calling on local teachers to apply for grants for the upcoming school year through their Bright Ideas program.

Teachers who wish to implement an innovative or creative hands-on project in their classrooms are encouraged to apply.

Bright Ideas flyers will be distributed to all teachers working at schools that are served by CEC, but teachers who wish to get a head start may access the application online at www.covington.coop.

The deadline to apply is Nov. 17.
