Billy Sanders

Billy Sanders, age 75, of River Falls, died Thursday night, August 24, 2017.

He was born in Florida on Feb. 4, 1942, to Marion Carroll and Evelyn (Qualls) Sanders.

Mr. Sanders is survived by his two sons, Cal (Sonya) Sanders of Andalusia and Michael (Sherry) Sanders of Red Level; his daughter, Juanita Daughtry of River Falls; four grandchildren, Sherrie (Kirk) Allen, Heather Sanders, Elizabeth Sanders, and Christina Sanders; and three great-grandchildren, Anabelle Hendershot, Kylie Allen, and Marion Allen. He is also survived by one brother, Jimmy (Sheryl) Sanders of Pasley, Fla.; and two sisters, Betty (Verdell) Gilbert of Leesburg, Fla., and Shirley (Louis) Walls of Babbie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Sanders; his son, Allen Keith Sanders; and his brother, Marion Carroll Sanders, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sun., Aug. 27, 2017, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia, with the Rev. Dwight Underwood officiating. Music will be provided by Faye Sightler. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery in Coffee County (near Curtis) with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sat., Aug. 26, 2017, at Keahey Funeral Home.

 

Albert Earl Small

Albert Earl Small,a resident of Opp Health & Rehabilitation, formerly of Red Level, passed away Wed., Aug. 16, 2017. He was 93.

Memorial services will be held Sat., Aug. 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Buck Creek Baptist Church with Billy Boles officiating. He is survived by his son, Joseph A. Small of Millbrook, Ala.; two daughters, Mary Ann Pittman of Red Level, and Ruby M. Horton of Mississippi; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Jeter Small.

Keahey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

EDNA WIGGINS GOODSON

Edna Wiggins Goodson, age 84, of Andalusia went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thurs., Aug. 24, 2017, after a brief illness. Funeral services for Mrs. Goodson will be held on Sun., Aug. 27, 2017, at 2 p.m. from the Harmony Baptist Church. The Rev. Greg Cotter will officiate. Internment will be in the Harmony Church.

Mrs. Goodson is survived by her two sons, Mickey and Gary (wife, Ann), all of Andalusia; six grandchildren, Tanner (Amy) Goodson, Casey Goodson, Tara (Jared) Harden, Nicole Pettie, M.J. (Emily) Faulkner and Rebecca (Roy) Jackson; 10 great-grandchildren and two brothers Jessie (Lucille) Wiggins and Delmar (Shirley) Wiggins all of Andalusia.

Pallbearers will be Lucky Cope, Donnie Williams, Jared Harden, Bobby Foshee, Tanner Goodson and Casey Goodson.

The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. Saturday at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church 30 minutes prior to services.
