JERRY WILLIAMSON
Mr. Jerry “J.W.” Williamson, age 61, of Honoraville (formerly of Dozier), passed away Sat., Aug. 26, 2017, at his residence.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 23 years, Leneatha Williamson of Honoraville; son, Richard A. (Jennifer) Williamson of Searight; stepsons, Duane Mathews of Honoraville and Christopher Mathews of Dothan; brothers: Steve (Melissa) Williamson of Dozier, Carl (Karen) Walker of Rose Hill, Andy (Polly) Walker of Loango, and Frank Walker of Dozier; sisters: Eunice (Kenny) Slawson of Andalusia, Wanda (Richard) Gunter of Gantt, and Dot Brogden of Rose Hill; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Shorty Williamson; and his mother, Carolyn Williamson; his sisters, Judy Williamson Defee and Jewel Cauthan; and his brother, Sam Walker.
Mr. Williamson worked as a truck driver for J & A Haulers in Brantley for many years and was a huge Auburn football fan.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Mon., Aug. 28, 2017, at Keahey Chapel. The Rev. Robert Canant officiated. Special music was provided by Frank Walker. Burial followed in County Line Church of Christ Cemetery in Crenshaw County. Serving as pallbearers were Steve Williamson, Frank Walker, Andy Walker, Carl Walker, Kenny Slawson, Larry Ryals, Matthew Morgan and Nate Pruitt.
The family received friends from 5-7 p.m, Sun., Aug. 27, 2017, at Keahey Funeral Home.

RODNEY VIRGIL NORRIS
Mr. Rodney Virgil Norris, 55, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., Aug. 25, 2017.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Mon., Aug. 28, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Zion Rock Cemetery at Boggan Level. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Foreman Funeral Home. Brother Fred Kelley and Brother Ashley McKathan officiated the service.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Barrow Norris; one son, Bryan Lee (Angela) Norris of Andalusia; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Paula and Ronnie Abbott of Wetumpka, Ala., Gladys and Mark Parrish of Wetumpka, Ala., Angela and Chris Hall of Columbus, Ga.; a step-sister, Shelley and Howard Baker of Bakersfield, Calif.; many nieces and nephews who loved him very much; and in-laws, Ramona Barrow, Wade and Diane Barrow, Gary and Vickie Barrow, Rose Ann and Gary Shaw, Carolyn and Jimmy Golden, Ashley Barrow.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Anne Boyd.
