The Florala Wildcats made the trek to Monroe County hit the gridiron against the J.U. Blacksher Bulldogs, where they lost a turnover battle and the game 59-7.

“Tonight it seemed like everything that could go wrong did go wrong,” said FHS head coach Scott Mason.”We made some mistakes, moved the ball well, but dropped two touchdown passes on the first drive and never really recovered.”

Mason said they had seven drops on the night.

“We lost the turnover battle and left a lot of points on the field,” he said.

Florala will play host to region opponent Georgiana Friday night at Matthews Stadium.
