Opp is holding its 19th annual Opp Fest on Sat., Oct. 28 in Downtown Opp.

The event kicks off at 8 a.m. on Main Street, Hart and Covington Avenue.

This year Opp Fest will hold a carnival, motorcycle show, car show, soap box car derby, and other events.

Opp Fest is free of admission.

Opp Activity Center Activity Director Pam Potter said that the only thing that will cost is the carnival wristbands and the different vendors.

Potter wants all people of the area to come enjoy the festivities.

“We hope everybody comes out and has a wonderful time at a nice, family-friendly event,” Potter said. “We look forward to seeing everyone there.

The event is sponsored by the Opp Downtown Redevelopment Authority.
