John H. Clark, Jr.

John H. Clark, Jr., age 86, of Andalusia, passed away on Wed., Sept. 13, 2017, at Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sat., Sept. 16, from Antioch Congregational Church with Brother Derwood Cleland, Woody Clark, and Brother Walt Baaske officiating the service. Interment will follow in Antioch Congregational Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday evening at Foreman Funeral Home and 30 minutes prior to services at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Clark of Andalusia; children, Angela (Roland) Brown of Andalusia, John (Vicki) Clark of Andalusia, Christy Clark of Montgomery, Benji (Stephanie) Jordan of Andalusia, and Joey (Heather) Jordan of Andalusia; grandchildren, Mandi (Dave) Morris, Justin (Tamara) Clark, John Clark IV, Emily Jordan, and Clark Jordan; and 1 great grandchild, Reagan Clark.

Pallbearers will include the National Guard Honors Team along with Dave Morris, Justin Clark, John Clark IV, Brad Bryan, Jason Pinckard, Ashley Barefoot, Johnny Pettie, and Jarrett Bryan.

JASON ROBERT BECK

Mr. Jason Robert Beck, age 43, of Andalusia, died Wed., Aug. 30, 2017, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Grant, N.M.

Jason is survived by his wife, Christy Mason Beck of Opp; three children, Laura Ashley (Ricky) Odom of Opp, Gia Beck of Andalusia, and Robert Fisher of Crestview; his father, William “Bill” Beck of Andalusia; his brother, Eric Beck of Andalusia; his step-children, Briana, Jason and Zack Kendrick, all of Opp; and his grandchildren, Aaron and Wade Odom of Opp and Gabriella Kendrick of Opp. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elissa Beck.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wed., Sept. 20, 2017, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Derwood Cleland officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Memorialization by cremation. Keahey Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

John W. Holland

John W. Holland, age 72, of Andalusia, passed away on Thurs., Sept. 14. John was born on Feb. 14, 1944, in Andalusia to Bera Franklin Holland and Alma Inez Thompson Holland. He was raised in Wing, then lived in Pensacola and Prattville before returning to Andalusia. John was a graduate of Pleasant Home High School, Class of 1962. During his career , he worked with Reichhold, then retired with Southern Duofast in 1999. A veteran of the US Army, he served during the Vietnam Era. John was also a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and Hadji Shrine Temple in Pensacola. He was an avid traveler and enjoyed reading.

John was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Holland; two children, James Holland and Jennifer Garcia; three stepchildren, Michael Williams, David Williams and   Debbie Martin; five grandchildren, Daniel, David, and Cristian Garcia, Olivia and Emily Holland; and one step-grandchild, Michael Williams.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Sun., Sept. 17, from the Cotton Cemetery in Escambia Farms. The family will gather at the cemetery at 2:30 to receive friends.
