Irene Butler hosted a reception on Thursday to celebrate the 35th anniversary of her son’s medical practice. A number of friends gathered to congratulate Dr. Rex Butler, who currently also serves as chief of the medical staff at Andalusia Health. Mrs. Butler bragged that at 92, she chose to wear the same dress that she wore the day she hosted a reception welcoming her son back to town more than three decades ago.
