Straughn comes up just short

The Straughn Lady Tigers started the AHSAA Class 3A South Regional Volleyball Championship off with a solid win over Indian Springs in Montgomery.
Both teams battled it out in the opening set, with the Lady Tigers pulling away with a 25-22 win.
In the second set, the Lady Tigers held on for a 25-20 victory before finishing off the sweep with a 25-17 win in the third set.
Straughn then fell to T.R. Miller 3-0 in the quarterfinals to end their chance at making it Birmingham.
T.R. Miller won the first set 25-13, the second set 25-18 and finished off the sweep with a 25-13 win.
