The 2017 AHSAA football regular season ended last night, and playoffs being this coming Friday.

Both Andalusia and Pleasant Home made the first round.

Andalusia will host Childersburg at 7 on Friday, while Pleasant Home travels to Wadley.

The Andalusia Star-News will again sponsor pep rallies on the court square on Thursday nights during playoffs. We’ll bring the shakers, and we want fans to bring the noise. The pep rally begins at 6 p.m.

Coach Trent Taylor also wants fans to bring the noise and “pack the pound,” Friday night, when fans are asked to sit close together to amplify the cheering.
