MARY PAULINE CONNER

Mrs. Mary Pauline Conner, 72, of Andalusia, passed away on Fri., Nov. 3, 2017, at Opp Health and Rehab.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m. on Mon., Nov. 6, at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Brother Charles Sutton officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation was held at the cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon Conner of Andalusia; two sisters-in-law, Jo Grace of Andalusia, and Joann Grace of Opp; her nieces and nephews, Cathy Seay, Brian Seay, Patty Seay, Austin Seay, Sharon Bledsole, Karen Carnley, Carmen Davis, and Carter Hall.

THOMAS MICHAEL WELLS

Mr. Thomas Michael Wells, 64, of Red Level, passed away on Sun., Nov. 5, 2017, at Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Tues., Nov. 7, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Bryan officiating the service. The interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Red Level. Visitation was at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his brothers, Gerald and Sue Wells of Red Level, and Tony and Julie Wells of Andalusia; his sister and brother-in-law, Paulette and Harold Bush of Alabaster, his nieces and nephews, Scott (Rebecca) Bush, Kimberlee Taylor, Danny Wells, David (Renee) Wells, Donna (David) Gomillion, Allison (Lance) Mills, Mike (Melinda) Wells, Jim (Brittny) Wells, Alry Buechner; many great nieces and great nephews; and an uncle, Kenneth (Valina) Sweatt of Shalimar, Fla.

Pallbearers were Danny Wells, David Wells, Mike Wells, Jim Wells, John Wells, and Morgan Wells.

HOMER J. LUNSFORD

Mr. Homer J. Lunsford, 90, of Gantt, passed away on Mon., Nov. 6, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Fri., Nov. 10, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Travis Day officiating. The interment service will follow in Able Cemetery in Gantt. Visitation will be from 5:30 – 8 p.m. on Thursday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Emma and Charles Wheeler of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Sheila and Darrel Zamjahn of Gantt; five grandchildren, Cheryl Wheeler, Charles Steven Wheeler, Thor Zamjahn, Rhiannon Wyrosdick, Geoffrey Zamjahn; 11 great- grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and a special nephew, Morris Ivey of Niagara Falls, N.Y.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Velma Lunsford, and 10 brothers and sisters.

ROSA MAE JONES

Rosa Mae Jones age 89, of Florala, died on Mon., Nov. 6, 2017, at Kindred Hospice Columbus, Ga. She was born July 30, 1928, in Enterprise. She was the daughter of James R. Perkins and Roberta D. Matthews Perkins.

She was a graduate of the Covington County Training High School, Andalusia. She was a civil service employee of Eglin Air Force Base laundry for 42 years. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Alvin Lamar Perkins. Survivors include her daughter, Regina A. Willis; son, Raymond A. Jones (Sonia), Florala; two beloved granddaughters, Habakkuk Arisa Wheeler (Leroy) and Yolanda Yvette Jones; two great-grandsons, Jamarion and Armarian Moore; and two great-granddaughters, Trinity and Tyra Wheeler.

Funeral services will be on Sat., Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist church in Florala. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., prior to funeral services on Sat., Nov. 11. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, on 805 Coppinville Road, Enterprise, AL 36330. Arrangements handled by Sconiers Funeral Home, 836 5th Ave, Columbus, GA 31901 Re pass will be held at Carver Community Center in Florala.

 

DORIS WARD HASLAM

Mrs. Doris Ward Haslam, 78, of Mobley Creek, passed away Nov. 5, 2017, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 8, at Mobley Creek Baptist Church with Brother Terry Powell officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Mobley Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Kent and Jessie Chavers of Groveland, Fla., and Scott Haslam of Titusville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Kyle Chavers and Nicole Chavers; several cousins including local ones such as Birdie Mae Smith, Marie Armstrong, Alma Knowles, and Betty Parker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Scott Haslam, and daughter, Donna Elisha Chavers.
