Rivalry excitement on hardwood

The Andalusia Junior High Bulldogs picked up a pair of wins over the Opp Middle School Bobcats on Monday night in Andalusia.

SEVENTH GRADE

OPP 38,

ANDALUSIA 31

In the first game of the evening the Opp seventh grade boys pulled off a 38-31 victory over the Bulldogs.

At the end of the first Opp held a 9-6 lead.

The Bobcats continued to play hard and went up 27-18 at the end of the third quarter.

Opp was able to hold on for a 38-31 victory.

Terry Davis led the way for the Bobcats with 21 points.

Cammeon Franklin led the Bulldogs with 10 points.

GIRLS

ANDALUSIA 32,

OPP 12

The Lady Bulldogs jumped out front early and held off the Lady Bobcats for a 32-12 victory.

Eryanna Sheridan led the way for the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points.

EIGHTH GRADE

ANDALUSIA 57,

OPP 37

In the final game of the evening the Bulldogs cruised to a 57-37 win.

Michael Hourel picked up 22 points to help guide Andalusia to victory.

J.J. Lee was the Bobcats’ top scorer with 11 points.
