Friends opening homes Sunday for tour; proceeds to aid adoption
A holiday tour of homes in Opp this weekend is designed to raise money for a local couple planning an international adoption.
Ronnie and Ashton Sansom have been matched with a toddler in China, and are anxiously awaiting Adalyn Ann’s arrival this summer.
Friends are helping them raise money to defray adoption expenses, and came up with the idea for a tour of homes. Five homes, already decorated for the holidays, will be featured, including:
- Stephanie and Jason Barrow, 414 Oakwood Drive
- Rebecca and Thad Perkins, 406 Oakwood Drive
- Victoria and Michael Peek, 101 Kay Street
- Kim and Jamie Bowers, 104 Duval Drive
- Amanda and Jared Henderson, 103 Duval Drive
Tickets can be purchased from tour participants and at these retailers:
- In Opp: Southern Style & Young’s Florist
- In Andalusia: Greenwood Gardens and Home & Oasis Salon (see Victoria Peek at Oasis).
Tickets are $10 each, and all of the monies raise go to the Sansom family.
The event is set for 1:30 until 5 p.m on Sun., Nov. 26.
