Before JCPenney opened its doors for Thanksgiving afternoon “Black Friday” sales at 2 p.m., local shoppers lined the sidewalks for a chance to get to the best deals.

Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is traditionally the biggest retail of the year.
